Business and Financial

Financial Report
Katie Saul, Director of Business Services, presented the monthly financial report. The district’s finances remain stable and on track. While spending is currently about $91,000 higher than projected, this is due to expenses occurring earlier than expected, not overspending. Additional revenue and savings have helped keep the district’s fund balance at approximately 10%, which aligns with district goals. This number will naturally fluctuate as payments are received and bills are paid throughout the year. Some state funding expected in January arrived later than planned and will appear in future reports. The district will begin planning next year’s budget at the February work session.

Superintendent's Office

Superintendent’s Office
Superintendent Dr. Tricia Mooney shared an update on student enrollment and reviewed how enrollment has changed over the past 10 years. She explained that while the chart shown may appear more dramatic, this is due to an adjustment in the graph’s scale, not a sudden change in student numbers. Enrollment naturally fluctuates throughout the school year, especially during winter months. The district closely monitors these trends over time to support planning for staffing, programs, and budgeting. Overall, current enrollment patterns remain consistent with previous years, and the district will continue tracking data to ensure thoughtful planning and support for students and schools.
